Welcome, Your stylist is BETTY MARTIN.
BETTY's BlogThe Neck’s Big Thing Category: Fashion, Style, Shopping Today's vast fashion options draw attention to where you want it the most…your beautiful face! Here's how to frame it in style…… Its all about choosing the right length. Virtually any style-from the refined metallics to those with chunky burst of color-will work with most necklines. The key is looking great is to choose a necklace of the proper length. Collared neck Longer style necklaces can be singled, doubled, draped, knotted or twisted. If your necklace seems overpowering, try tucking in it into your shirt instead of wearing it out. The goal is to add interest to the exposed area. Round/Crew neck Circular necklaces demand necklace lengths that lie slightly below the collarbone and hit above, at or just below the fabric, depending on your personal preference. For ultimate flexibility choose an adjustable style. Tip……if you love the necklace but wish it were a tad longer, extend it! Check out necklacenecessities.com for everything you need, all in a handy kit! V neck From a simple pendant to multistrand and trendy bib-style necklaces, short lengths best fill the "V-oid". The deeper the V, the larger and longer the necklace style should be. Excerpt from July issue of figure magazine.
I've been making jewelry for 6 years and just love all the colors and textures of gemstones. I've been a part of Stella and Dot (LUXE ) for about 3 years and really love it! Most of my own designs are created using gemstones, crystals, pearls, and silver. My favs are all the jaspers, turquoise, amethyst, garnet and coral. The link for my MEETUP group in the Dallas area is below. Its free to join! We meet the first Saturday of each month and hope you can join us.
